Sfundo Mngadi was born and raised in South Africa. As a self-taught illustrator, he is inspired by artists like Alessandro Pautasso and Rik Ostenbroek. The way they play with color when creating their works has always blown his mind. What inspires his work are topics where he tends to question his own idea of masculinity while experimenting with color and his subjects tend to be in a state of loneliness and vulnerability.
